Frequently Asked Questions

If you still have a question that you don’t see answered below, please reach out! We’d love to hear from you.

  • Think of a micro-cruise as your friend’s boat, but professionally captained and chartered where voyages are typically 90 minutes or less. We purposefully cater to small, intimate groups, to create elevated and bespoke experiences on the water.

  • Outings are more involved experiences than micro-cruises. An outing can range from dinner reservations (dropped off/picked up by boat) and champagne sunset cruise to a beach lobster bake (and more!). We have a general framework for how we run outings but love to personalize them for you and your group! If you’ve got an idea, drop it our way!

  • We depart out of Eliot, ME at our private dock where you can meet with your party ahead of time.

We also have a number of pick up and drop off spots, should one be more convenient for you, see our map of locations and destinations here.

  • Ideal group size is between 2 and 6. We are a small operation with comfortable seating for 6. There is a small forward cabin should we experience bad weather, and yes… a bathroom for emergencies.

  • We take cash, venmo, and all major credit cards.

  • Like any service, we greatly appreciate and accept gratuities for an outstanding experience! If you enjoyed yourself and feel like we went above and beyond, please feel comfortable expressing that in a tip to your captain, we greatly appreciate your generosity.

  • We do!

  • On a case by case basis, yes! We love our four legged friends but ask that your dog ideally be 50 lbs or less and have a life preserver. When booking, please mention your pet and we can work something out.

  • Understand that getting in and out of a water vessel, especially during even remotely rough water, can be a bit challenging; especially for the elderly and physically challenged.

We encourage you to use your best judgement when booking and consider the following question as a measure of physical fitness required for safety: Is climbing a flight of stairs without the use of a railing challenging?

If the answer is yes, you might consider larger group touring options like the Thomas Leighton or Portsmouth Harbor Cruises.
